EnerSys is seeking a Plant Controller/Accountant to direct financial activities at the Suwanee/Norcross, GA location within a hybrid work setup. The role requires GAAP adherence, budgeting, and monthly close activities, with collaboration across the Americas Accounting Department.

The ideal candidate will lead financial analysis, support audits, and drive cost-saving initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with four years of progressive experience.
• Experience performing variance & trend analysis to explain deviations from forecast.
• Experience with manufacturing and intercompany accounting; working with non-U.S. subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

• Provide management with accurate financial information to measure and guide plant operations.
• Use data and reporting tools to suggest strategies to minimize costs and improve productivity.
• Collaborate with managers and executives to present financial information across units.
• Prepare and issue plant financial statements; oversee monthly and annual closings and variance analysis.
• Oversee general ledger activities including payroll, expenses, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare the annual plant budget and monthly forecasts.
