Job summary

Dexter is seeking a Plant Controller to lead financial reporting and control across assigned locations. You will manage budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and capital expenditures while promoting strong internal controls and GAAP compliance.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting with 10+ years in manufacturing finance, plus proficiency in cost accounting and financial analysis. Indiana-based, on-site role with growth potential and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent with 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Significant manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, standard costing, inventory accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience supporting multiple manufacturing locations preferred.
• Master's or CPA/CMA degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitability and cost optimization with a continuous improvement focus.
• Provide timely financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to plant management and senior leadership.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and internal controls.
• Translate operational performance into financial results and communicate key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain to improve inventory accuracy and working capital.
