Job summary

CFS in Louisville, KY seeks a Plant Controller to lead the month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, inventory and cost accounting. You will ensure GAAP reporting, balance sheet accuracy, and provide analyses to drive profitability and productivity in a manufacturing plant.

The role partners with plant leadership on strategic decisions and cost-saving initiatives, with exposure to capital projects and continuous improvement. A strong compensation package includes an annual bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration required.
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
• Strong ERP experience, ideally Epicor.
• Experience with general ledger activity and GAAP reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities and analyze actual results against budget and forecast.
• Direct forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes for the plant.
• Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, reconciliations, and variance investigations.
• Manage cost accounting processes and ensure GAAP reporting compliance.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, financial reports, and analyses.
• Partner with management on cost savings initiatives and process improvements.
