Job summary

Kerry in Evansville, IN is seeking a Plant Controller to lead the site’s financial operations, drive cost management, and partner with plant leadership on performance, reporting, and strategic investing.

This role requires SAP experience, a finance background in manufacturing, and strong analytics. You will collaborate with operations and commercial finance to enhance efficiency and ensure accurate month-end close.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
4–6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
CPA, CMA or equivalent is desired but not required.
Proficient knowledge of SAP and accounting systems; Excel skills essential.
Experience with long-term planning, capital, budgeting and costing is desirable.

Responsibilities

Partner with site leadership to own financial performance and cost reduction opportunities.
Present plant analysis and scorecards to management, linking performance to SKU and assets.
Prepare daily, weekly, and period-end operational performance reports with actionable comments.
Manage Month End close, balance sheet, accruals and PO reconciliation.
Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the plant.
