Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Plant Controller for the Decatur/Athens area with relocation support. This highly visible role collaborates with plant leadership to improve financial performance, cost control, and manufacturing insights.

You will lead plant accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls while guiding an accounting team and working closely with operations to optimize plant performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• MBA preferred for higher effectiveness in strategic cost management.
• Minimum 5+ years in manufacturing accounting with strong cost accounting background.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, inventory and standard costing.
• Demonstrated analytical, communication and leadership skills.
