Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a Plant Controller in McMinnville, TN. This on-site role requires leading financial activities for the plant within a multi-site environment, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and cost management in collaboration with operations and corporate finance.

You will oversee monthly closes, budgeting, forecasting, inventory and variances analysis, and provide financial insights to support pricing, sourcing, and capital decisions across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing financial processes.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks.
• Experience with ERP systems in multi-site environments (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in a matrixed organization.
• Willingness to maintain on-site presence at the facility; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the plant within a multi-site structure.
• Lead the monthly close process, coordinating timelines with corporate finance.
• Ensure timely reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and standardized practices.
• Maintain and analyze standard costs and job costing; analyze variances.
• Support inventory valuation, cycle counts, and audits across sites.
• Lead the annual budget and forecast updates for the plant.
• Provide insights for pricing, sourcing, and make/buy decisions.
• Collaborate with plant leadership and corporate finance to drive standardization.
