Job summary

Peraton seeks a Plant Controller to lead the Remotec manufacturing site in Clinton, Tennessee. You will own the plant’s P&L, cost accounting, inventory integrity, forecasting, and internal controls, partnering with operations leadership to drive cost and margin improvements as production scales.

You will translate multi-level BOMs, labor, and overhead absorption into accurate financial results and actionable insights, requiring strong cost-accounting fundamentals and shop-floor familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 12+ years in manufacturing finance or cost accounting, plant-level experience a plus.
• Experience owning a manufacturing P&L and job order costing.

Responsibilities

• Own the plant P&L and cost accounting, ensuring accuracy.
• Lead annual operating plan, monthly forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Develop inventory controls and monthly reserves to reflect real value.
• Partner with Plant Manager to improve cost, cash, and margins.
• Manage cycle counts, month-end close, and internal controls (SOX).
• Coach finance staff and improve ERP/MRP usage on the shop floor.
