Job summary

Rust-Oleum Corporation is seeking a Plant Controller to manage multi-plant financial activity and support operations and finance management. This role drives accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls across manufacturing sites, collaborating with plant managers and corporate finance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 3+ years in accounting/finance, preferably in manufacturing, and familiarity with SAP, HFM or OneStream.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of professional experience in accounting/finance.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• SAP experience a plus.
• Experience with financial reporting tools (HFM/OneStream) is a plus.
• Team player with cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records and financial reports.
• Report to management on finances of the establishment.
• Establish accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
• Develop and document recordkeeping and accounting systems.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
• Maintain records for government agencies.
• Advise on compensation, benefits, and tax planning.
• Develop and analyze budgets and review variances.
• Provide internal and external auditing services.
• Analyze operations to project revenues and expenses.
