Job summary

Haemonetics is seeking a Plant Controller to own the financial performance of a manufacturing facility, providing reporting, cost analysis, P&L oversight, and inventory management. This role serves as the primary financial advisor to plant leadership and links to corporate finance.

The candidate will lead monthly close cycles, develop budgets and forecasts, and drive KPI analysis to improve profitability. Strong ERP experience and GAAP controls are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in a finance or accounting related role.
• Controllership experience within manufacturing.
• Professional experience with a global ERP system (Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP, etc.).
• Highly proficient in Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, data extraction).
• Experience in a regulated industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly analysis of balance sheet activity, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Establish and maintain relationships with corporate leadership, finance functions, suppliers, consultants, and external partners.
• Oversee accounting operations (GL, AP, purchasing-related processes, outsourced accounting) and ensure compliance with policies and local regulations.
• Support federal, state, and local tax reporting requirements.
• Manage inventory controls, standard costing, material cost analysis, productivity reporting, and cost savings initiatives.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the site.
• Prepare and analyze KPIs to improve profitability and operational effectiveness.
• Review, approve, monitor, and control site cost center expenses.
• Review, reconcile intercompany transactions, including in-transit shipments.
• Resolve issues related to account balances, payments, inventory transactions, and discrepancies.
• Supervise internal controls in line with policies and regulations.
• Support Plant Director with new product introductions, lean manufacturing, and cost reduction initiatives.
