Job summary

ZF Group in Marshall, IL seeks a Plant Controller to manage all accounting and finance functions for our manufacturing operations. You will oversee payroll, payables, receivables, fixed assets, GL, cost accounting and analysis to support profitability and budgeting.

The role leads the information systems function, coordinates monthly close and reporting, supports long-range planning, and ensures SOX compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or business administration with sufficient accounting courses.
• 7–10 years of progressively challenging financial assignments in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting and finance functions for the Marshall operations including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, general ledger, cost accounting and analysis in support of manufacturing operations.
• Oversee information systems function including local area network, desktop hardware and software, application development and support, and connectivity with wide area network and internet.
• Oversee monthly closing and reporting/analysis of results.
• Support Management in carrying out full P&L, operations and long range planning responsibilities.
• Develops price quotes for future business.
• Manage and train finance staff.
• Maintain Sarbanes Oxley compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Comply with and support the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies and procedures.
