Job summary

ACMT, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Controller to manage financial operations for our Manchester, CT manufacturing facility.

You will partner with leadership, production, and other departments to ensure financial integrity and profitability, aligning financial goals with business objectives. The role covers statements, budgeting, cost accounting, inventory and asset management, internal controls, audits, and financial analysis, while leading the accounting team and supporting cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7 years in financial management, with at least 3 years in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with variance commentary.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting to track production costs and improve efficiency.
• Oversee inventory valuation and asset management, including depreciation and capital expenditures.
• Establish internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate external audits and provide supporting documentation.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Lead and develop the accounting team and collaborate with operations, sales, and supply chain.
