Job summary

The Bolton Group is seeking a Plant Controller for a central Indiana manufacturing site. This hands-on leadership role owns the plant's financial operations and drives business decisions.

You will manage the plant's P&L, monthly close, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow while leading a team of 3 direct reports and partnering with operations to link financials to operational outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of accounting/finance experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Previous people leadership experience.
• Strong accounting and financial reporting skills.
• Experience with P&L analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow.
• Ability to work onsite in central Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial operations and P&L for the manufacturing plant.
• Prepare financial statements and oversee financial reporting.
• Lead month-end and year-end close activities.
• Manage forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Oversee AR/AP and purchase approvals.
• Support audit and tax activities.
• Maintain and improve financial controls and accounting processes.
• Lead, develop, and manage a team of 3 direct reports.
