The role is a key financial partner to plant leadership, delivering visibility, strengthening controls, and driving profitability and efficiency across the operation. You will oversee budgeting, close cycles, reporting, and financial analysis while supporting strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong cost accounting, inventory, standard costing, and variances knowledge.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ability to collaborate with plant operations and senior leadership.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
• Demonstrated ownership, independence, and ability to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial activities for the manufacturing facility.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accurate reporting.
• Manage plant-level budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Analyze costs including labor, materials, overhead, and variances.
• Partner with plant management to assess performance, profitability and cost savings.
• Monitor inventory, COGS, and valuation processes.
• Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and KPIs.
• Support capital expenditure planning and fixed asset accounting.
• Establish and improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and corporate reporting requirements.
• Assist with audits and other external reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and stronger controls.
