Job summary

ProAmpac seeks an experienced Plant Controller at its Wisconsin manufacturing site with $100M+ revenue to lead accounting and FP&A, partnering closely with plant leadership to drive financial excellence.

The role oversees close processes, general ledger, cost accounting, budgeting, and inventory working capital while driving continuous improvements and key analyses for decision making. Collaboration with leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 10 years of financial management in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven and effective leadership and management skills.
• Experience partnering with plant leadership to drive financial excellence.
• Experience managing reporting, budgeting, the general ledger, and coordinating audit activities.
• Analytical thinking with ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of financial reporting systems and manufacturing.
• Proficiency with MS Office and related tools (Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, Teams and Outlook.
• Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information.
• Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial policies, practices and procedures with significant site impact.
• Analyze financial data and present site and consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Provide accounting and FP&A support to site leadership.
• Align department strategy with organizational goals.
• Strengthen internal communications around financial goals across the site.
• Assist plant manager in managing inventory working capital and drive improvements.
• Oversee monthly/quarterly consolidated detail and ad hoc analyses to support decisions.
• Coordinate all audit activity.
• All other duties as assigned.
