Job summary

voestalpine Railway Systems Nortrak in Chicago Heights, IL, is seeking a Plant Controller / Senior Cost Controller. You will lead cost accounting, budgeting, and profitability analyses to support manufacturing decisions.

The role requires a degree in Accounting/Finance, 3+ years of manufacturing experience, and proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel. You will collaborate across functions to optimize cost, pricing and inventory while reporting to the VP of Controlling.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting, business or finance.
• Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience, manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with SAP and advanced Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete month-end procedures and prepare internal management reports.
• Lead monthly financial reviews with the CFO, VP Controlling, Plant Manager and others.
• Support cost saving initiatives and analyze profitability by product/project/customer.
• Prepare budgets and monitor actuals against budget and forecasts.
