Job summary

TalentBridge in Chicago, IL seeks a Plant Controller to oversee financial performance, cost accounting, and FP&A across manufacturing operations. This role partners with plant leadership to improve margins, controls, and operational efficiency.

The position offers a hybrid/on-site work model with a base salary of $150,000 plus a 10% annual bonus, and a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure oversight in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years in accounting/finance, preferably manufacturing.
• Experience in plant controllership, cost accounting, or operational finance.
• Strong knowledge of cost structures, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel and ERP reporting tools; able to translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant-level financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Analyze standard costs, material/labor costs, overhead, PPV, and inventory valuation for cost savings.
• Partner with plant leaders to evaluate production performance, capacity, and efficiency.
• Develop financial reports and dashboards using Excel, ERP, and BI tools.
