Job summary

Dawn Foods seeks a Plant Controller at its Denver manufacturing plant to lead financial operations, costing, budgeting, and forecasting. You will partner with plant leadership to drive profitability, ensure internal controls, and support strategic initiatives.

You will act as a backup to the Plant Director, guide decision-making, monitor performance, and help standardize processes across the controller platform. On-site role with potential relocation consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline and a minimum of 8 years of related work experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of related finance experience, with demonstrated experience supporting plant leadership, business decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and operational performance management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership for the manufacturing facility through timely completion of Finance and Operations control functions.
• Act as the financial leadership backup to the Plant Director and ensure continuity of site operations.
• Monitor financial performance and develop corrective action plans with plant leadership.
• Lead or coordinate plant leadership activities during periods of absence or transition.
