Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is hiring a Plant Controller in Whitehall, MI to partner with the Plant Manager and direct the finance function at a manufacturing facility. You will oversee Information Systems, Procurement and Accounting to ensure robust manufacturing controls and decision support.

Qualifications

BS in Business Administration and/or Finance/Accounting required.
Minimum of 5 years related financial/controllership work experience.
Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
Experience in manufacturing finance preferred.

Responsibilities

Direct the operation of Information Systems, Procurement and Accounting to provide manufacturing systems.
Identify key levers to drive business improvement and lead opportunities.
Set targets for quality, productivity, delivery, cycle time, inventory and profitability.
Forecast, plan and analyze business results.
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls.
Coordinate capital appropriation processes and post-project reviews.
Supervise department employees.
