Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Plant Controller for a leading manufacturing company to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis on the shop floor. You will partner with plant personnel and management to drive accuracy, timely closes, and actionable insights that improve profitability.

The role requires 5–10 years of finance leadership, strong accounting knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
5–10 years of dynamic leadership experience in Finance, Accounting, or analytics.
Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and corporate finance.
Proven ability in building analytics and models and identifying key drivers.
Proficiency with MS Office and ERP/financial software; strong modeling skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly financial statements and post to general ledger; close within 3 days of month-end.
Plan and coordinate plant budget activities aligned with corporate policies.
Analyze key business drivers and ensure budgets are accurate and forecasted.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts within 5 days of month-end; review reserves.
Deliver monthly plant performance analyses with variances and expenses.
Provide financial reports to local management and advise on trends.
Support plant manager with insights to improve profitability and variances.
Monitor daily dashboard for bookings, sales and inventory variances.
Develop KPI reporting and share best practices across plants.
