Job summary

PPG Industries (UK) Limited is seeking a Plant Controller in Huntsville, AL. You will join the Operations Finance Team, supporting Aerospace Transparencies and leading performance improvement initiatives at the Huntsville plant.

You will report to the Aerospace Operations Finance Manager in Pittsburgh and work on-site with a hybrid schedule, plus annual travel to HQ. Supervisory responsibility for one Operations Finance Analyst is included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• 6+ years of experience in a finance/controlling role in manufacturing.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel annually to Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities

• Provide plant-level financial analysis and variance explanations to Operations leadership and Business Unit Finance.
• Lead budgeting and month-end closing activities for the Huntsville plant.
• Drive capital project ROI, cost optimization, and productivity improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align plans and deliverables with plant leadership and HQ.
