PPG Industries, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer for Aerospace Transparencies in Huntsville, AL.

This on-site role focuses on developing and troubleshooting plant process systems, implementing process strategies, and sustaining documentation for continuous improvement to safety, quality, productivity, and cost metrics. You will collaborate with multiple teams to resolve issues, optimize operations, and drive manufacturing excellence at the Huntsville facility, reporting to the Production

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or scientific discipline required.
• Three (3) or more years of experience within engineering or an equivalent environment required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Lean and/or six sigma experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Serve as a technical resource for production team in the work cell and support day-to-day operations.
• Drive improvement and maximize productivity of products and processes.
• Lead problem-solving and improvement projects using structured methods (root cause, fishbone, 5-why).
• Improve product quality, increase process capacity, reduce variation and cycle/setup times, adopt new technologies.
