The successful candidate will manage plant budgeting, cost standards, and inventory reporting, while maintaining data integrity across ERP, and leading monthly closes and reconciliations. Four-plus years in plant Cost/Controller roles are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-year accounting degree or equivalent.
• 4+ years in Plant Controller role or related cost accounting.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Access and SAP.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, journal entries and cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Plant Manager to oversee accounting functions for the location.
• Track and report total plant operations; provide KPI insights.
• Develop standard costs for products produced at the site.
• Budgeting and forecasting of fixed expenses; support planning processes.
• Develop costs and cost standards for new products and processes.
• Ensure data integrity across systems and processes.
• Perform monthly close, including journal entries, variance analyses, and inventory reporting.
• Prepare reconciliations for assigned accounts.
