Job summary

Baxters North America is seeking a Plant Controller to oversee plant cost accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting. You will lead the cost accounting function, manage ERP data, and partner with production and procurement to drive cost improvements and profitability across our facilities.

The role requires a strong background in manufacturing accounting, leadership of a multi-site team, and expertise in ERP systems (preferably Oracle) to provide strategic financial insights and support

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing accounting and systems, with a focus on cost accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience managing a team within a multi-site food manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Cost Accounting Oversight: manage plant cost accounting, track production costs, variances and efficiencies.
• ERP Oversight: ensure ERP data alignment and cost systems.
• Process Improvement: identify bottlenecks and implement cost-reduction solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with procurement, production and supply chain for cost objectives.
• Risk Management: identify risks and mitigate impact.
• Financial Forecasting: predict revenues, expenses and resource needs.
• Pricing and Cost Determination: support pricing and margin analysis.
• Financial Reporting: prepare plant-level reports and analyze cost data.
• Operational Support: collaborate with plant manager for cost control and efficiency.
• Leadership and Team Development: mentor plant-based cost accounting team.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: support plant budgets and metrics.
• Collaborate on food safety and quality of products.
