Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline required; master’s degree or CPA preferred.
• 10 years of experience in manufacturing accounting and systems, with a focus on cost accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience managing a team within a multi-site food manufacturing environment. Experience with ERP systems; Oracle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cost accounting oversight across all locations, ensuring accurate tracking of production costs, variances and efficiency.
• ERP oversight: design, structure and flows to align data and transactions for efficient business management.
• Process improvement: identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Cross-functional collaboration with procurement, production, supply chain, sales and finance to align cost objectives and pricing strategies.
• Risk management: forecast, evaluate and mitigate risks to minimize impact.
• Financial forecasting: predict revenues, expenses, and resource needs to sustain financial health.
• Pricing and cost determination: oversee price board and perform margin analysis to secure business.
• Financial reporting: produce plant-level reports and present insights to leadership.
• Operational support: partner with plant managers to drive cost control and efficiency gains.
• Leadership and team development: mentor and grow plant-based cost accounting team.
• Budgeting and forecasting: support development of plant budgets and performance metrics.
