Oregon Freeze Dry, Inc. in Albany, Oregon is seeking a Plant Controller to partner with manufacturing leadership, guiding financial strategy and operational improvements. You will oversee budgeting, cost accounting, inventory valuation, and ERP-based costing as you drive profitability across plant operations.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, GAAP compliance, and strategic analytics to support capital decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Six+ years progressive accounting/finance experience in manufacturing.
• Four+ years leading and managing teams.
• Experience in food manufacturing/CPG preferred.
• Strong cost accounting, including standard costing and overhead allocation.
• ERP, budgeting, forecasting and data-driven decision support.
• Advanced Excel for financial modeling and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for manufacturing operations across plant locations.
• Coordinate BOMs, routings, labor rates, and overhead allocations in ERP; analyze plant performance and present plant-level P&L and KPI dashboards.
• Maintain standard costing methodologies and inventory valuation processes.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain for capital investments and pricing analyses.
• Serve as finance business partner to plant leaders, providing guidance and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, R&D, Procurement and Supply Chain on productivity and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Oversee month-end close, inventory accounting and reconciliations; ensure GAAP compliance and audit support.
