Job summary

SnapDragon Associates, LLC is seeking a Plant Controller to oversee all financial operations at its Houston manufacturing facility. This hands-on role partners with plant leadership and corporate finance to drive cost control, accurate reporting, and data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate brings deep costing expertise, manufacturing accounting experience, and proficiency with SAP and Power BI to standardize processes and improve profitability across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in accounting/finance within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong costing, inventory analysis, and ERP experience (SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and financial operations for the manufacturing plant
• Prepare monthly financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Establish and maintain internal controls, financial policies, and accounting procedures
• Perform detailed manufacturing cost analysis to identify savings opportunities and improve inventory accuracy
• Develop and monitor key financial metrics, profitability, and operational KPIs
• Evaluate plant transactions and ensure compliance with corporate accounting standards
• Support capital expenditure planning and financial modeling
• Partner with plant leadership to improve operational and financial performance
• Assist with internal and external audits
