Job summary

Elementis Global is seeking a US Plant Controller to oversee plant accounting, budgeting, inventory and fixed assets for the New Martinsville and New York manufacturing operations and warehouses. You will lead costing, standard costing and performance analysis while partnering with plant and supply chain leadership to drive cost improvements and robust controls.

The role requires strong experience in manufacturing accounting, cost analysis, and ERP systems, with a focus on continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 5–10 years of relevant manufacturing plant accounting experience.
• Experience leading accounting close, costing and financial reporting.
• Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills.
• ERP systems experience required; JD Edwards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly plant accounting close, variances, and reconciliations.
• Prepare annual operating plans, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Manage plant product costing, standard costs, and variance analyses.
• Oversee inventory and fixed asset accounting, cycle counts, and capsex process.
• Maintain Finario and provide JD Edwards support.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen accounting processes and cost controls.
