Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 2-4 years of job-related experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, month-end close, and account reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of SAP and the ability to navigate and analyze financial data.
• Proficiency in Excel; Power BI experience is a plus.
• Experience with cost accounting, standard costing, inventory accounting, or manufacturing variance analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, operating metrics, and KPIs.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and variances (materials, labor, overhead, scrap, productivity).
• Maintain product-costing and inventory-valuation activities, including standard costs and BOMs.
• Prepare information for budgets, forecasts, strategic plans, and standard-cost updates.
• Partner with Operations to understand cost drivers and support corrective actions.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, fixed assets, reserves, payroll accounts, and related balance sheets.
• Conduct inventory control activities, cycle counts, and slow-moving/obsolete reviews.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements; prepare audit documentation.
• Analyze capital projects and support project justification and capitalization.
