Job summary

JBS USA in Missouri seeks a Plant Controller to direct all plant finance activities, partnering with plant management to drive performance, cost control and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities include monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, P&L variance analysis, budgeting (including zero-based budgeting), capital expenditure tracking and strong internal controls. Proficiency in SAP and MS Office is required, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in accounting/finance; MBA preferred.
• 5-7 years in manufacturing finance/accounting with standard cost accounting.
• Ability to analyze financial data, prepare reports and projections; budgeting and cost control.
• MS Office proficiency; SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Team player with positive, can-do attitude and adaptability to multiple workstreams.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist management with monthly/quarterly/annual reporting packages.
• Perform P&L variance explanations for price, mix, volume and cost drivers.
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports and projections.
• Establish and evaluate profit plans and budgets, including ZBB.
• Maintain internal controls and lead accounting close processes.
• Lead cost savings initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
• Coordinate with procurement to optimize inventory and capital expenditures.
• Oversee plant audits, asset inventories, and standard cost reviews.
