Job summary

Addison Group in Pennsylvania seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage financial records, support budgeting and forecasting, and strengthen internal controls. You will partner with facility leadership and cross-functional teams to drive strategic planning and governance.

The role focuses on accurate ledger maintenance, variance analysis, and preparation of detailed financial reports to inform leadership and steer organizational performance.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain financial transactions and prepare balance sheets
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of records
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Analyze cost data and provide variance reports to leadership
• Maintain strong internal controls and lead cycle counts
• Partner with facility leadership and finance/executive teams
• Prepare financial reports including income statements and balance sheets
• Contribute to forecasting and financial planning processes

Job description

• Accurately record all financial transactions in accounting systems; prepare and maintain balance sheets, and process accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting processes, supporting strategic planning.
• Analyze manufacturing cost data and provide clear, actionable variance reports to leadership.
• Maintain robust internal controls around inventory; lead monthly cycle counts and full physical inventory counts as needed.
• Act as a strategic partner to facility leadership and a liaison between operations, finance, and executive stakeholders.
• Interpret and manage key financial ratios to support business health and performance.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including detailed income statement and balance sheet reviews.
• Support and contribute to the forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Conduct financial analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and performance improvements.
• Apply a structured, data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Requirements:
