Job summary

Antolin Alabama, a leading automotive supplier, seeks a Controller to oversee monthly financial statements, cost accounting, and working capital. You will ensure GAAP compliance, support audits, and drive profit improvements across tooling, overheads, and budgets.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive finance, a finance degree, and strong analytical and communication skills. You will work in a multinational environment with competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules to meet deadlines within six days of month end.
• Provide business analysis to senior management as required.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant documentation in automated accounting systems.
• Satisfy internal and external audit requirements.
• Manage internal reporting of product costing, overheads, and budget variances for weekly forecasts.
• Identify opportunities for profit improvement.
• Track tooling revenue and record expenditures and customer payments.
• Assist working capital management through prompt billing and receivables collection.
• Support integration of MRP and financial information systems for informed decision making.
• Coordinate capital expenditure approvals and annual budget processes.
• Monitor capital spending and prepare capital submission analyses.
• Complete corporate assignments accurately and timely.

Mission:

• Responsible for guiding and supervising the business affairs of the Company to ensure compliance with the Antolin Alabama’s Financial Management Accounting Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules to meet external and corporate reporting requirements and with the objective of meeting reporting deadlines within six days of month end.
• Provide business analysis to senior management as required.
• Ensure the maintenance of automated accounting systems to adequately document business transactions in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Satisfy all internal and external audit requirements.
• Manage the internal management reporting of product costing, departmental manufacturing overheads, and budget variances thereon with the objective of producing weekly forecasts.
• Participate in the process of identifying and implementing opportunities for the improvement of profits.
• Work with the Engineering and Corporate to track projected tooling revenue against commitments to tooling suppliers and record expenditures and customer payments for customer-owned tooling.
• Assist in working capital management through prompt billing of revenues to customers, efficient collection of receivables and resolution of customer differences, control of disbursements, and identification of opportunities for the reduction of inventories.
• Assist in the establishment and continuous improvement of integrated MRP and financial information systems to provide accurate and detailed data for more effective decision making by the management team.
• Coordinate the preparation and review of the annual Strategic, Capital, and Financial Business Plans.
• Participate in the preparation and review of departmental financial budgets.
• Coordinate the preparation and submission to the corporate offices of Capital Expenditure Approval Requests against the capital budget.
• Supervise the tracking of capital spending against approvals.
• Coordinate the preparation of Quote Capital Submission and supporting analysis to the corporate offices in order to justify investments for future business being quoted.
• Complete all corporate assignments accurately and in a timely manner.

• Educational requirements : Finance degree
• Min. 5 years of experience in finance, particularly in in the Automotive Sector
