Job summary

Acs in East Tennessee is seeking a Plant Controller to join the plant leadership team. This role is responsible for financial reporting at plant and divisional levels and will have two direct reports. Open to qualified candidates moving from Assistant Controller or similar roles into a full Controller position.

The successful candidate will have a BS degree in Accounting or Finance, strong Excel skills, and a minimum of 10 years in manufacturing accounting. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing accounting roles.
• 3 years of experience as Controller, Assistant Controller or Accounting Manager.
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field. Strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the P&L statement and perform financial analyses.
• Reconcile the general ledger and communicate financial information to plant leadership.
• Interact with other plant locations as part of a global corporation.
• Oversee two direct reports.

Job description

Large manufacturing plant in East TN has immediate opening for a Plant Controller. The Controller is part of the plant leadership team. Responsible for Financial reporting at plant and divisional levels. The Plant Controller will have two direct reports.

Qualified candidates will have at least 10 years experience in manufacturing accounting roles, along with 3 years experience as Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager. Must have BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar. Strong skills in Excel required.

The Plant Controller will prepare the P&L statement, do the financial analysis, reconcile the general ledger, and communicate the information to plant leadership. This is a highly visible role.

Open to considering candidates in Assistant Controller roles (or similar) ready to move into a full Controller position.

This facility is part of a global corporation. The Controller will interact with other plant locations.
