Job summary

Venteon seeks a Plant Controller to join a growing manufacturing team. This role focuses on monthly financial statements, close processes, and driving profitability through cost analysis and process improvements.

You will lead the month end close with cross functional teams, coordinate with auditors, maintain standard costs, and provide accurate forecasts. A Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance is required, with MBA or CPA preferred and 5+ years in accounting/finance.

Qualifications

• MBA or CPA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

Our client is a large, privately held manufacturing company. They are seeking a Plant Controller to add to their growing team. The Plant Controller function includes monthly preparation of financial statements/analysis, as well as looking for process improvement in the month end close cycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES of the Plant Controller

• Plant Controller is main point of contact to all functional groups/departments on accounting and finance items in this facility
• Will have lead role in the month end close, annual forecast and financial analysis
• Work with external auditors as needed
• Review and oversight of standard cost maintenance
• Plant Controller will have detailed knowledge of profitability analysis and key accounting/finance items

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE of Plant Controller

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance required
