Job Description - Plant Construction Technician - Water Crew (25000142)

What You’ll Do:

• Champion Safety: Prioritize safety for yourself and others, adhering to MSHA and Vulcan standards.
• Weld: Perform large volume pump repair and general pipe fitting.
• Operate Equipment: Operate a backhoe, skid steer, and manlift.
• Assist Electricians: Support qualified electricians with electrical component installation and maintenance in water systems.
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.
• Travel: Travel to various sites across the region (up to 90%).

Skills You’ll Need:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Functional Knowledge: Basic understanding of plumbing fittings and parts, ability to read blueprints, welding knowledge.
• Driving: Valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime, extended hours, outdoor conditions, and tolerate loud noises.
