Job summary

WNC Corp. in the United States seeks a senior facilities leader to oversee U.S. site construction and systems, driving planning, design reviews, budgeting, and handover for manufacturing environments.

You will standardize building systems, manage reliability and maintenance, and ensure regulatory compliance across OSHA, NFPA, NEC and environmental permits. You will also lead energy management, sustainability initiatives, and ROI analysis, while recruiting and developing a high-performing U.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field required.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities systems, regulatory compliance and safety standards.
  • Experience leading site construction, maintenance planning and cost control.

Responsibilities

  • Lead U.S. site construction and facilities system setup, with planning, design reviews, budget and schedule control, acceptance, and handover.
  • Plan facilities infrastructure based on manufacturing processes, capacity needs, product requirements and expansion plans.
  • Oversee standardization of building and facilities systems, including design standards, acceptance criteria, testing and documentation.
  • Establish daily facilities operation and reliability management, including maintenance, spares, downtime risk, and emergency response.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, NEC, ANSI, building/fire codes and environmental permits.
  • Collaborate with EHS to implement safety, energy, environmental and contractor safety systems, including disaster recovery and risk prevention.
  • Drive energy management, sustainability and cost optimization aligned with ESG goals and ISO standards.
  • Recruit, develop and train the U.S. facilities team, defining roles, competency matrix and training plans.

Job description

We are a leading company in the wireless broadband communications industry looking for talented professionals with a winning attitude.

Responsibilities
  • Lead U.S. site construction and facilities system setup, including planning, design review, construction, budget and schedule control, acceptance, handover.
  • Plan facilities infrastructure based on manufacturing processes, capacity needs, product requirements, and future expansion, including power, UPS/backup power, HVAC, exhaust, compressed air, vacuum, process cooling water, water/drainage, fire alarm, evacuation, security, energy monitoring, BMS/FMCS, and digital facilities platforms.
  • Oversee standardization of building and facilities systems, including design standards, system standards, acceptance criteria, testing, handover process, and technical documentation to support mass production and long-term operations.
  • Establish daily facilities operation and reliability management, including preventive/predictive maintenance, spare parts control, downtime risk management, annual maintenance planning, critical equipment stability, and emergency response.
  • Ensure facilities projects, equipment, and operations comply with U.S. regulations and company requirements, including OSHA, EPA, NFPA, NEC, ANSI, building/fire codes, environmental permits, audits, and customer requirements.
  • Work with the EHS team to establish safety, fire protection, energy, environmental, and contractor safety management systems, including emergency response, disaster recovery, BCP drills, critical backup plans, and risk prevention.
  • Drive energy management, sustainability, and cost optimization in line with ESG and carbon reduction goals, including energy KPIs, monitoring, energy-saving projects, ISO 50001/14001/45001 support, OPEX/CAPEX control, ROI/Payback analysis, and long-term equipment planning.
  • Recruit, build, develop, and train the U.S. facilities team, including workforce planning, roles and responsibilities, competency matrix, support mechanism, and training plans.
