Job summary

Lamb Weston in Richland, WA seeks a Project Engineer II to own the plant's Capital program and manage all phases of standard engineering projects, delivering on time and at cost.

You will assist in developing design options, overseeing contractor bids and installations, and maintaining plant drawings using Autocad/Solidworks while supporting the plant engineering manager and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in engineering or related field.
• 2 to 4 years production processing, maintenance, engineering, or supervisory experience.
• Proficient in Autocad and/or Solidworks.
• Strong PC skills including Windows, Word, Excel.
• EIT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, CIR write-ups, developing contractor bid packages, overseeing project installation, cost tracking and startup assistance.
• Primary responsibility for maintaining plant drawings using CAD software.
• Collaborates with maintenance supervisors on plant issues and with engineering managers.
