Job summary

RR Donnelley in De Pere and Green Bay is seeking a Building & Grounds technician to maintain plant facilities, mechanical systems, and related equipment to ensure efficient operations.

This is a 1st shift role, Monday through Friday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, with the potential for alternating Saturdays. The position emphasizes hands-on maintenance, safety, and collaboration with outside vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems.
• Use powered hand tools in maintenance duties.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• General knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems preferred.
• Assist outside vendors for repair/installation of equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant mechanical systems (boilers, air compressors, HVAC units) for readiness and efficiency.
• Maintain filters and dust collection devices in air handling units; vacuum/change filters.
• Maintain plant entrances and assist with carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical tasks.
• Monitor dust collection systems and related areas; assist maintenance of these areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain safe working environment.
• Keep records, time reports, and work orders for performed work.
• Operate scissor lift and forklift after training; follow plant policies.
