Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods Inc. in Seattle, WA,is seeking a FSQA Tech to support food safety and quality assurance programs. The role conducts audits, HACCP verification, sampling, and data analysis to ensure regulatory compliance and product quality.

You will collaborate with production management, follow GMPs and SOPs, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to uphold standards for Greenleaf Foods brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a HACCP-recognized facility in a food safety or quality assurance role.
• FSQA experience in food processing or manufacturing is highly preferred; familiarity with WSDA and FDA product standards is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems; SAP experience is highly desired.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to work independently, manage competing demands, and adapt to frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to GMPs and SOPs.
• Conduct product quality audits and HACCP verification; recommend actions.
• Perform microbiological and analytical sampling of products and production environment.
• Support daily quality and food safety decisions.
• Data entry and data analysis.
• Prepare samples and participate in sensory evaluations.
• Provide support and coaching to employees and management.
• Participate in projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
