Job summary

Whole Foods Market seeks a dedicated FSQA Technician to uphold food safety and quality at our metro production facility. You will assist with daily FSQA operations, maintain HACCP/GMP records, and support audits while ensuring proper labeling, storage, and lot control.

Responsibilities include environmental monitoring, temperature logging, vendor testing, and supervising sanitation staff. Ability to work a flexible schedule and collaborate with leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of FSQA in food production/manufacturing.
• HACCP/PCQI certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal food safety requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily FSQA operations and task assignment.
• Help ensure USDA manufacturing facility compliance and safety standards.
• Maintain HACCP and GMP records.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and prepare corrective action reports.
• Oversee environmental monitoring and swab programs per HACCP/FSMA.
• Inspect incoming products for quality, weight, and ingredients.
• Maintain temperature records and perform vendor weight tests.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and lot control.
• Oversee packaging to maintain quality and food safety.
• Supervise sanitation activities and training of FSQA staff.
• Prepare records for audits and communicate with stakeholders.
