Job summary

Kettle Cuisine Everett Plant seeks a QA/Quality Assurance professional to ensure HACCP, FSMA, and PRP compliance while supporting on-floor investigations and continuous improvement. The role involves analytical testing, sanitation verification, and data-driven quality improvements.

Responsibilities include supporting QA and R&D during batch runs, conformance checks of ingredients and packaging, and maintaining GMPs across the plant. Some shift flexibility and a passion for food are expected.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or 4-year program in Food Science, Quality or related field or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of HACCP and USDA/FDA regulations.
• HACCP certification preferred; inventory and database management experience.
• Ability to identify and create processes and write procedures.
• Ability to respond to inquiries from customers, regulators, or business community.
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing (pH, sodium, color, drain weight, water activity, brix, moisture).
• Verify food safety and quality checks per HACCP/FSMA and Preventive Control Programs.
• Ensure sanitation practices meet GMP requirements and regulatory standards.
• Assist QA in data collection to improve products and systems.
• Provide on-floor QA support for investigations and troubleshooting.
• Support QA and Operations in conformance checks of ingredients, packaging, and finished product.
