Maple Donuts, LLC is seeking an FS/QA Manager to develop and maintain systems ensuring the plant and all products meet regulatory, company, and customer specifications. The role also oversees SOPs, pest control, HACCP, GMPs, labeling, FS training, site inspections, 3rd party audits, and kosher certification commitments for both plants.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred in a food-related, manufacturing or business field.
• Must attain HACCP, Advanced HACCP, PCQI, Internal Auditor and Advanced Auditor certifications.
• Knowledgeable in Food Labeling and sanitation requirements.
• Able to read scales, thermometers and hydrometers; basic math skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present information clearly.

Responsabilités

• Comply with all safety rules and GMP standards.
• Ensure finished product is Safe, Wholesome and meets company specs; sign-off by HACCP/PCQI staff.
• Monitor raw material/supplier approvals; report quality issues for corrective actions.
• Monitor finished product for legal and social compliance; report issues for corrective actions.
• Provide oversight to HACCP, specifications, inspections and audits; support program modifications.
• Ensure/monitor weight control; inspect samples to verify weight and proper coding.
• Maintain kosher certification paperwork and certificates in-house prior to raw material arrival.
• Meet with vendors, customers, quality reps or inspectors to resolve quality issues.
• Attend meetings, training sessions, and seminars as required.
• Provide guidance to salaried and hourly staff on Food Safety and Quality requirements.
