Job summary

Price Industries is seeking a Corporate Automation Engineer to act as a subject matter expert supporting plant-driven automation projects across HVAC component manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with plant teams to identify automation opportunities, assist with proof-of-concept development, define project scope, and guide projects through the life cycle from design to hand-off to production.

This role partners with Engineering, Maintenance, IT, and external integrators to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in automation, controls, manufacturing engineering, maintenance engineering, or project implementation in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, machine controls, industrial networks, and integration concepts.

Responsibilities

• Automation SME support: act as a corporate technical resource for plant teams evaluating and implementing automation opportunities.
• Plant-driven project support: work with plant Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to define automation concepts and requirements.
• Proof of concept & project definition: assist feasibility reviews, concept layouts, scope development, and equipment needs.
