Job summary

Cindavi in Arkansas is seeking a Process Automation Engineer to join the Project Engineering Group in Batesville. You will build deep expertise across PLC, DCS, HMI, and OT systems while helping shape the plant's next generation.

This role offers hands-on experience across legacy and next‑gen technologies, including ABB 800M/800xA migration. You'll collaborate with experienced leaders and grow into a trusted automation resource for troubleshooting and engineering decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering preferred.
Experience or strong aptitude in process controls and automation.
Experience with Windows servers, networking, OT environments.

Responsibilities

Design and implement automation solutions for batch and continuous processes.
Support upgrades across PLC, DCS, HMI, and plant-network environments.
Program and troubleshoot using ladder logic, structured text, and function blocks.
Advance ABB 800xA/800M modernization while supporting legacy systems.
Collaborate with process engineering, project engineering, operations, electrical maintenance, and instrumentation teams to solve plant-wide problems.
Diagnose root causes and improve reliability and capacity.
Occasional after-hours support for critical issues.
