Cindavi in Batesville, AR seeks a Process Automation Engineer to join our Project Engineering Group. You will gain deep exposure to PLC, DCS, HMI, and OT systems while helping shape the next generation of our plant.

You will learn operations, collaborate with engineering and maintenance, and grow into a trusted resource for automation decisions, troubleshooting, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering is preferred.
• Experience with process controls, automation, systems integration, or controls programming.
• Strong PC literacy and Windows environments, servers, domains, networking, and OT.
• A practical understanding of controllers, I/O, instrumentation, and fieldbus technologies.
• Experience in chemical, petroleum, or another continuous or batch manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, integrate, test, and start up automation solutions for batch and continuous processes.
• Support change orders, upgrades, and improvement projects across PLC, DCS, HMI, and plant-network environments.
• Program and troubleshoot systems using ladder logic, structured text, function blocks, and batch-sequencing tools.
• Help advance ABB 800xA and 800M modernization work while supporting Allen-Bradley, legacy DCS, and vendor systems.
• Partner with process engineering, project engineering, operations, electrical maintenance, and instrumentation teams to solve plant-wide problems.
• Diagnose root causes, improve reliability and capacity, develop procedures, and contribute to equipment and process design decisions.
• Participate in occasional after-hours support when critical plant issues arise.
