Job summary

Circular Services is seeking a Plant Associate I in Anniston, AL to ensure proper placement and sorting of materials on the conveyor line. The role involves quality control of mixed recyclables and safe removal of non-conforming items.

You will perform end-of-shift cleanup and assist with equipment cleaning while supporting a team in a busy recycling facility. This is a full-time, on-site position in Anniston, AL.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with basic PPE: hard hat, reflective vest, steel toe boots, ear/eye protection, gloves.
• Experience in an industrial recycling facility is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stand at a station along a conveyor belt doing quality control on mixed recyclables.
• Identify non-conforming items and remove them into designated chutes or bins.
• General warehouse cleanup at the end of each shift.
• Processing equipment cleanup at the end of each shift.

About the Role:

• Quickly identify non-conforming items for removal from a fixed station and safely remove them into designated chutes or bins.
• General warehouse cleanup at the end of each shift.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Familiarity with the use of basic Personal Protective Equipment like a hard hat, reflective vest, steel toe boots, ear and eye protection, utility gloves, and arm preferred.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an industrial recycling facility preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

• Regularly use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms
• Frequently required to sit, walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, speak and hear.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to stand for long period of time
• Vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud
