Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager for our high-volume aluminum can facility in Texas. You will oversee plant-level accounting, ensure GAAP compliance, manage cost accounting, inventory controls, and monthly closings while partnering with operations and leadership.

The role requires a CPA/CMA or MBA preferred, 5+ years in accounting with manufacturing exposure, and ERP experience. You will mentor staff and drive cost transparency and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA/MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in progressive accounting, manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with cost accounting, inventory accounting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant-level accounting, including balance sheets and P&L.
• Perform cost accounting, inventory controls, and depreciation tracking.
• Prepare monthly close, variance analyses, and financial reports.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls across plant operations.
• Mentor AP/AR staff and plant-level accounting team.
