Job summary

Crown is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee plant-level accounting, drive cost transparency, and support production and leadership with accurate financial reporting. The role includes cost accounting, inventory controls, and depreciation management in a fast-paced aluminum can manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, 5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing preferred), and strong GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; manufacturing background preferred.
• CPA / CMA / MBA preferred.
• Experience with cost accounting, standard costing, and inventory accounting is a plus.
• Experience in metal packaging or high-speed manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and internal control experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide plant-level accounting services and support for production, supply chain, and leadership teams.
• Prepare balance sheets, P&L, and other financial reports; analyze trends and costs.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, capital expenditures, and depreciation schedules.
• Oversee month-end close, variance analyses, and financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, GAAP, and internal controls.
• Supervise AP/AR, payroll, and plant-level accounting staff.
