Responsibilities

• Analyzes and interprets complex plans and specifications to evaluate code compliance.
• Inspects building construction for code compliance and approves required permits.
• Coordinates with contractors, property owners, and the public on code interpretations.
• Prepares notices of violation and attends hearings or court as needed.
• Maintains records and reports related to code enforcement duties.
