Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to help keep our store shelves stocked and our customers served with knowledge and a friendly attitude. This entry-level role exposes you to retail tasks in product, customer service and merchandising, offering opportunities to learn and grow within a family-focused company.

You will stock groceries, move products to correct locations, handle backroom clean up, and support leadership to meet daily goals while maintaining a safe, welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is a plus.
• Able to learn basic technology and processes.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in backroom areas.
• Work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your workensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll:

What You Bring
