Job summary

P.L. Marketing, Inc. is seeking a diligent merchandiser to execute weekly plan-o-gram work in Kroger stores, ensuring displays are refreshed and shelves correctly stocked. You will prepare sections, reposition products, and maintain inventory while delivering courteous customer service.

Responsibilities include following company and Kroger guidelines, reporting progress to supervisors, and traveling to other store locations as needed. Must be 18+, fluent in English, and able to drive.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Be 18 years of age or older
• Read and understand plan-o-grams
• Read, write and communicate fluently in English
• Qualify as insurable driver with an excellent driving record
• Smartphone with data access required for app use
• Provide personal tape measure and safety gloves

Responsibilities

• Read and understand plan-ograms
• Collect plan-ograms, new item tags and prepare work area for section reset
• Break down sections to allow customers to shop other sections
• Re-position shelving and place product per updated schematic
• Merchandise displays by maintaining inventory and completing updates
• Complete forms and report section completion to Kroger and supervisors
• Work independently with little supervision
• Maintain professional customer assistance and knowledge of Kroger’s Customer 1st Strategy
• Maintain good relationships with store management and staff
• Follow KOMPASS guidelines on timeliness, productivity, teamwork, communication and clocking in/out
• Travel to other division store locations as needed
• Remain qualified as insurable driver
• Assist during periods of reduced hours with additional store support
